Come May 8th the Incipient Canton of Hauksguarðr will celebrate the coming of another tourney season with a potluck feast and May Revel!
Join the fun with either our yearly "Best Representation of a Hawk (in any medium)" A&S competition, most period or populace choice, or with the bear-pit style heavy fighting tournament, prizes for overall winner and best death. There will be a bag raffle to support the Incipient Canton's growth. Other contests may be added as the event draws nearer so keep your eye on our event website hosted at the Barony of Three Mountains website.
Feast contributions by mundane last name: A-L: side dish, M-R: desert, S-Z: main dish. Please bring enough to feed your family +10 servings; PLEASE bring a list of ingredients for your contribution. Bring your own drink and feast gear.

Please note: this is a dry site and there is no tobacco use in the park.

Site opens 11am on May 8th, 2010 and closes 7pm the same day.

Cost: $5 adults, $3 youth (6-17), under 6 free.  NMS applicable for adults.

Directions:  Take your best route to I-84

From the West: Go East on I-84, take Exit #84 (W. 2nd Street), turn right at Lincoln Street, in one block turn left on W 3rd Street (it’s 1 way traffic at this point) *NOTE: this is more like an s-curve, going from 2nd to 3rd), turn right on Washington St., Washington St. curves left and becomes E. 7th, then curves right and becomes Kelly Ave. follow this up the hill to E. 14th St., turn right on E. 14th, turn left on Jefferson St. proceed up hill, turn right on E Scenic Drive and proceed until you reach the entrance to Sorosis Park on your left, across from the viewpoint.  Permanent structure is straight ahead, inside the park.

From the East:  Go west on I-84. Take Exit 85. At the top of the exit go left; cross the overpass to E. 2^nd St. (hwy. 30), turn right onto E. 2^nd St., turn left on Washington Street, follow previous directions.
