A Message from the Autocrats

 

Armies are set to gather on the borders of An Tir and the West. The war crows call to the mightiest kingdoms of the known world. Songs will be sung of hero’s deeds. Let your name be among them. We meet on the fields of battle the 2nd of July, 2009 for four days of glorious war and merriment at An Tir/ West War.

 

Come meet friendly foes on the battlefield. Learn new skills in the many fantastic classes offered. Or just spend time relaxing with friends and family. An Tir-West War truly has something for everyone! There will be challenging war scenarios, classes, and children’s activities, as well as cooking and other Arts and Sciences demonstrations. All this, plus the beautiful Pacific Ocean will be waiting for you at An Tir West War!

 

This website has all the information you need to know in order to have a really good event. Please be sure to browse the site thoroughly so you won't have any surprises when you get onsite. Pre-registration is highly encouraged! All who pre-register for the event will receive a limited edition An Tir-West War tee-shirt. These will not be available for sale other than by pre-registration! See the pre-registration page for details.

 

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and give back to the Society. If we all pitch in a couple of hours, then we all get to work less and play more. Please be generous with your time.

 

Please be considerate of late arriving people and try not to take up more space that you absolutely need. Get cozy within your encampment. Get friendly with your neighbors. Let's remember that we want everyone to have enough space for their encampment and to have a good time.

 

Please be prepared for the weather. While July is often hot, it is An Tir, and it may be rainy without warning.

And finally, have a good time!
