Every branch must have a name and device. At the November meeting, the group discussed various names and devices. This is what we have come up with so far.
The proposed name for the Canton is Kaldor. It means "wood by the water/stream". We have several back-up names should that one have an issue once submitted.
At the last interest meeting the group decided on the arms below incorporating both the pantheon and knot into the heraldry. The device will go into submission with the name in July or August once the necessary petitions are signed.
I'm working with the heralds to ensure that these devices and the name do not conflict. If there are any issues, we can work to modify the name/device accordingly. Then we'll need to finalize our device and put the name and device officially into submission.
