The storming of Nantes from an early sixteenth century German woodcut. Note the guy ropes going to the peak of the round tent. Especially interesting is the round tent in the center right--note the protruding covered doorway, with poles and guy ropes (my copy is a bit clearer). The marks on the 'door' look like hinges, with a ulu-shaped handle on the left side of the door. I can't tell is this is ornamentation on a fabric flap, or a rigid door.
