The storming of
Nantes from an early sixteenth century German woodcut. Note the guy ropes
going to the peak of the round tent. Especially interesting is the round
tent in the center right--note the protruding covered doorway, with poles
and guy ropes (my copy is a bit clearer). The marks on the 'door' look
like hinges, with a ulu-shaped handle on the left side of the door. I can't
tell is this is ornamentation on a fabric flap, or a rigid door.
