STOLEN/MISSING ITEMS
This page is to list those items which have been stolen, and other SCA
members may recognize. I've also decided to have a section for items that
have been lost or are missing. If you are interested in listing items here,
please drop me an email and
list an item description, approximate date, and location when it was last
seen (and whether it is stolen or missing). If you wish to post a
reward, please also state that. I'll put an email address on your
item description, so people can contact you directly.

KNIFE--At Pennsic 29 (2000). I mistakenly left it in
a port a castle on the center corner of the Bog. That is the three port
a castles that are across from Wolf's Den. It is a 16 inch knife
balanced as a chef's knife. It was a gift from Master Alrond to myself
several years ago. It was in a bright Red sheath. It has his logo "Shadowmaker"
etched into the blade. A grave loss... I do wish its return with
no questions, no charges. email to lordxbrew@aol.com

I would like to put out a search for a missing sword or actually
the basket hilt attached to the sword. It belongs to the Barony
of the Citadel of the Southern Pass in the Outlands and was "lost" at Estrella
in 1999. It was used as a splint on someone who was taken
to the hospital during one of the battles and never returned. The
basket hilt has incorporated in its design cups or chalices (the main baronial
charge). The young man who offered it was very upset
that it was not returned to him and feels guilty. It is probably
simply a matter of not knowing where to take it to. email Bahiyyah

AN TIR--At July Coronation my lady purchased a length of trim, roughly
11 yards long. It was purple & green, and had gold or yellow birds,
described as "Celtic chickens". She purchased the trim at a merchant very
near to the Gold Lemon, and between that merchant and our encampment (which
was basically behind the Gold Lemon), it was lost. She's spent many years
trying to find this trim, having seen a sample of it in C.E. 1987. If
any gentles found such a bit of trim, please get in touch with me via
email
at trode@home.com. Thank you. Uilliam

SWORD OF STATE--ANSTEORRA--The Kingdom of Ansteorra lost our Great
Sword of State during the reign of Sir
Kein MacEwan and Dame Alisha MacLeod (July 26, 1997 to January 17,
1998). It was in Kein's van, parked on the street in front of his
house, and when the van was burglarized the sword was taken. The full history
of the Ansteorran Sword of State is available at http://www.florilegium.org/files/STORIES/Anst-sword-msg.html
The Sword is marked with the 10-pointed black star on the pommel,
"sable, a mullet of 5 greater and 5 leser points" that symbolizes the Kingdom
of Ansteorra. If recovered, any member of the Ansteorran Chivalry, Nobility,
Peerages or of the Lions of Ansteorra would be more than happy to accept
it for return to the Kingdom Regalia. ::GUNNORA::
