From the fourteenth
century Chroniques de St Denis. Saracen 'beggars' appealing for
Crusader charity mask the advance of their armed comrades behind them.
The tent is natural color, with no center pole or ropes visible. The roof
is wedges of orangish-red and gold, with a (painted?) band of blue arches
near the top of the wall. A small round finial is visible at peak of the
roof.
